The same on every client
Every message sent through Exchange carries the same text, whichever app it was written in.
Zeyl adds your organization's disclaimer to everyone's signature from one place. You write it once instead of relying on people to copy it or remember it.
A confidentiality note, a privacy statement or a warning for messages that reach the wrong recipient: many organizations want text like this at the bottom of their email. The hard part is keeping it accurate and current in every employee's signature.
Sending the text around and asking people to paste it into their signatures leads to missing, outdated or edited copies. Zeyl keeps the text in one place and delivers it to everyone along with the signature.
The legal disclaimer is one of the modules in the Zeyl signature studio. It is added to your signature design as a block and published together with the signature.
In the signature studio, add the Legal disclaimer block to your design.
Enter the statement your legal team has approved, and see in the live preview how it sits under the signature.
Changes are saved to a draft first; when you click Publish, the text goes live with the signature.
With Microsoft 365, the signature is added on the server, in the Zeyl gateway, as the email leaves Exchange Online. The disclaimer is part of that signature, so there is no copy on the employee's computer or phone to edit.
That means the text is added whether the message is sent from Outlook, Outlook mobile or the phone's mail app, and users cannot remove it.
Every message sent through Exchange carries the same text, whichever app it was written in.
There is no add-in or setting for employees to install.
Zeyl does not read or store message content; it only adds the signature.
Open a free account; connect Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for your team.
With Google Workspace, Zeyl writes the signature, disclaimer included, into each person's Gmail signature setting. The directory syncs every hour, so new hires get the text with their signature too.
If you use Zeyl without a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace connection, copy the signature as HTML or download it; the disclaimer is part of it. A copied signature is static, so it needs to be copied again when you change the text.
Zeyl manages each domain as its own property. If your companies or brands email from different domains, you can manage each one's signature, and therefore its legal text, separately.
On Microsoft 365, you can try a new signature in “only me” mode on your own messages first, then switch it to “everyone”.
The disclaimer is not a stray text box; it is edited as part of the signature design. Whether you also use a banner, a survey or a call-to-action button, the legal text keeps its place at the bottom.
Update the text in one place and publish it, instead of chasing employees with reminders.
Use a visual studio instead of hand-writing HTML in Exchange rules.
The campaign banner sits above the legal text, so the design stays intact.
In Microsoft 365, an admin can add text to messages with an Exchange rule, but that text sits apart from the signature, there is no visual editor, and every change means editing HTML by hand. In Gmail, the signature is a personal setting, so adding the disclaimer is left to each employee.
Zeyl lets you manage the legal text as part of the signature from one place: the same studio, the same publishing flow, server-side insertion on Microsoft 365 and a write to each person's Gmail settings on Google Workspace.
The Personal plan is free: design your signature, then copy or download it. Managing everyone's signature centrally through Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace is part of the Team plan: €9 per month plus €1 per person. Enterprise quotes are available on request.
The Team plan can be tried for 5 days with Microsoft 365 or the copy option (card required up front, up to 25 people); there is no trial for Google Workspace. Payment is in euros.
It is a legal statement added to the bottom of emails, such as a confidentiality note or a privacy notice. Your organization's legal team decides what it says.
Not on Microsoft 365. The text is added with the signature as the message passes through the server, so there is no copy for the employee to edit.
On Microsoft 365, yes. Whether it's Outlook mobile or the phone's built-in mail app, every message sent through Exchange carries the text.

Zeyl manages each domain as its own property, so you can manage the signatures, and therefore the legal text, of different domains separately.
No. Zeyl is the tool that adds the text to everyone's signature; the legal content is your organization's responsibility.
The change is saved to a draft first and goes live when you click Publish. Signatures copied by hand are static and need to be copied again.
